"The Workbench 01: rebuilding Tyro"

This is The Workbench, our new video series. Short episodes showing what's actually happening on the bench, across everything we're making.

Episode one covers the two things on it right now: the Tyro demo rebuild, with a look back at how the Allison cutscene and the comic came together, and a first proper look at Globugrounds. A nice little meadow. It does not stay that way.

Tyro is coming back

We went quiet on Tyro. No updates, no news, nothing. We're sorry for that.

Here's the honest version. The demo didn't feel the way it should have. You told us: the combat felt floaty, hits didn't land the way they needed to. You were right. We read everything, and we sat with it for a while.

So we're rebuilding the demo. Not patching the old one. Rebuilding it, around the feedback you gave us.

The goal is to have the new demo in your hands by the end of the year. We'll show the work right here as it happens, so you can watch it come together instead of wondering if we disappeared again.

To everyone who played the demo, read the comic, or supported us while we were dark: thank you. You're the reason this game is still alive.
